Whitney Houston

Probably one of the most devastating and traumatic drug-related losses of most recent years, would have to be the legendary Whitney Houston. Perhaps not quite on the publicity level of the loss of icon Michael Jackson, but for many, it had the same devastating impact. Nobody could believe it as the news stations around the nation reported that Houston had been found dead in a hotel bathroom tub and had possibly overdosed on cocaine. Houtston’s problems with drugs were well noted as we saw the once curvy and healthy singer, slowly disintegrate before our eyes. Then it would’ve seemed like she was turning her life around and becoming healthy again, only to one day see that the actress had lost her battle with her addiction. She was a great talent and taken away from us far too soon.
